Plum Compote & Yogurt Granola Bowl

We love trying new summer recipes! Victoria from our Bamboo team is a huge plum fan, so today we’re making a red plum compote to enjoy for breakfast or as a fresh dessert together with some yogurt. The color alone is so beautiful, it’s also a little pleasure for the eyes:)

You'll need

  • Plums 
  • Agave syrup
  • Greek yogurt
  • Our Caramelized Almonds & Pecans granola
  • Hemp seeds (optional)


Cut the plums into pieces and place them in a pot with a bit of water and agave syrup. Bring it to a boil, then turn the heat to medium and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Stir and taste occasionally to adjust the sweetness. As plums become quite bitter when cooked, you might need to add a bit of agave syrup to find the perfect and delicious balance. When the compote is done, let it cool down. Serve in a bowl with Greek yogurt & our Caramelized Almonds & Pecans granola. Enjoy!
